Recently, the LNG storage tank roof foundation construction for the Inner Mongolia Hengkun LNG Project, EPC contracted by CNCEC-TCC, has been completed on schedule with high quality. This achievement has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent advancement of the project.
The top plate cast this time has a diameter of 30.6m and a thickness of 0.9m, with a formwork height of 3.15m from the top surface of the raft to the bottom of the top plate. It contains 286 embedded parts, with a concrete volume of approximately 650 cubic meters, featuring high technical requirements and difficult construction. Faced with multiple challenges including a tight schedule, heavy tasks, low temperature and strong winds, the CNCECTCC project team rose to the challenges and took proactive actions. The team organized expert demonstrations of the support scheme in advance and earnestly implemented relevant measures. Adhering to the principle of “scientific implementation, safety assurance, strict quality control and schedule guarantee”, it dynamically optimized the implementation plan and onsite arrangement, and finally completed this milestone safely, with high quality and efficiency, fully demonstrating strong technical strength, excellent management capability and high morale in overcoming difficulties.
The cold winter has passed, and a promising spring is ahead. Taking this opportunity, the project team will uphold the corporate mission of “Building a Colorful World, Creating a Better Life”, give full play to its four major advantages in innovation, technology, management and resources, and steadily advance the followup work to deliver a satisfactory result for the owner and the company.
