CNCEC-TCC Technology R&D Center was founded in 2006 as the first R&D center within the Group. In 2010, a post-doctoral research station was established, and in 2012, it was recognized as a National Enterprise Technology Center. Based on the integration of "production, education, research, and design", the center has developed a unique innovative R&D mechanism. It has achieved hundreds of technological breakthroughs, including the butadiene-based adiponitrile process and the hydrogen peroxide propylene oxide (HPPO) process, which have been successfully applied in the company's self-built industrial facilities. The center has applied for over 1,000 patents and received more than 110 national, provincial, and ministerial awards, becoming the key "core" of the company's "one core, multiple elements" development strategy.

The lnnovation Platform Pilot Base ofTcc is independently operated by Zibo Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsiciary of Tcc. it is located in Qilu Chemical Industry Park, Zibo City, Shandong, Prowince, The project covers an area of 240 acres and started constnuctinin January2022. it was fully put into use in March 2023 The pilot plant is the core resource for TCC's integrated technology research and engineering design, further promoting the deep integration of" industry, Academia. R&D,and Engineering",actively undertaking major national scientific research tasks, striving to achieve breakthroughs in "bottleneck" technology, and becoming an important carrier for innovation driven development.

CNCEC-TCC, together with industry giants and listed companies on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, jointly initiated the establishment of an open technology innovation platform, focusing on the "bottleneck" technology of national strategy and industry development, and creating a major source of technological innovation in the chemical industry. By adopting models such as "online+offline", "R&D+transformation", and "innovation+entrepreneurship", to become a resource-based platform for gathering industry, academia, and research, a service-oriented platform for transforming scientific and technological achievements, and a trading platform for technology marketization, achieving an innovation ecosystem of "resource aggregation, collaborative innovation, and multi-party win-win".
