The neutralization reaction between hexanediamine and sebacic acid generates the nylon 610 products, which can be processed to produce engineering plastic and military-grade and civilian-grade fibers. Hexanediamine is widely used in HDl, seam beautifying agent, and hot melt adhesive industries.
